Congratulations to the NBPPA and their Youth Championship!
Word is that the NBPPA's first youth event, held this past weekend, was a super, super hunt! Pictures are worth a thousand words. The ones I saw this morning tell the story. Kudos to all involved from the sponsors to the event organizers and congratulations on a successful youth event!
Tresa is working on posting candid's and results this morning to be up soon.
This was most definitely the most fun I've ever had at a field trial!
I met some of the most amazing kids they each left an impression on me that I will never forget! I would like to thank all of our sponsors for helping to make this hunt a success! A special thank you to Lee Clemens, Chris Blickenstaff and Tresa VanMiddlesworth who worked their tails off Saturday lol
A big thank you to GREEN COUNTY BEAGLE CLUB. Jon Witt and Josh Lee done an amazing job helping to guide all of the casts. Thank you to Adam potter, josh lee, Jon Witt, Eric waddle, trey powers, BJ Yette, Chris Blickenstaff, Andy Romack for judging!!
Thank you to Max Cosby and Dale Barnes for judging a huge and very difficult bench show under the lights Saturday evening.
A thank you to all the parents that brought their kids out this weekend
I brought home a group of kids that made new friends from all over that they would not have even met if it wasn't for this hunt.
I can't wait for next year 😃
Thanks everyone who put their time and dedication into this hunt to make it awesoem! My neice, sister and I had a blast and I'm sure my neice is hooked on field trials for life! I definitly plan on helping and attending next years youth hunt and many other UKC hunts in the future .

I have to agree with Jonathan it was the most fun I have ever had at a trial. I had a great time in the field judging with the kids and listening to them back at the club house with there tales of the field. It was great seeing all of the kids running around.
I want to give a big thank you to all that helped out to make this a wonderful hunt for the kids .
42 kids 71 dogs
$1300 in scholarships
And enough prizes every kid got atleast three!!
Lots of kids was their very first trial
This was definitely a one-of-a-kind event. The atmosphere in the clubhouse was amazing all day.
Thank you for all the kids that came out to hunt. It was great to see all of the faces smiling and having a great time.
Thank you to Lee Clemens, Chris Blickenstaff and Jonathan Hayes for handling all of the dogs/hunters and keeping everyone on task during the event. Everything ran so smoothly with you guys at the helm. There was so much team work and cooperation that made this event a HUGE success!
Thank you to all the judges that showed up to help out. It was great that you all came out to show your support and lend your skills to show the kids what it's all about.
Thank you to Midwest Custom Embroidery for allowing me to come down and get the shirts made for each of the kids. It was great to see most of them wearing them throughout the entire day.
Thanks to ALL of the sponsors that contributed to the pile of prizes that were given out. Each participant went through THREE times and there were still prizes left to be taken for grabs at the end.
Just the comments from the boys that I brought were saying, the kids are excited and can't wait for the next hunt.
Great job, everyone!!! Thank you for all your hard work!
This hunt was especially memorable for me I had more fun at this time than any trial I've been at and got to share it with my daughter which was even more special to me! Was a great turnout for the kids this is one they will remember for a really long time! I would like to especially give a shout out to Jonathan Hayes! He is been a really big help for NBPPA and UKC! Also Lee Clemens for bringing dogs for kids that didn't have one it was really a good weekend for the kids!!

Sounds like it's unanimous then! Funnest and most memorable trial I've attended. Watching and listening to the kids handle the dogs was unforgettable.
Our little girl, Ava, waited all day to show her puppy. To see her face when she won was something I'll never forget. It is all she has talked about for the past two days. Getting to introduce Jordan's little cousin, Morgan, to the sport would be something her Daddy would be so proud of her for doing.
Thank you Jonathan, Lee, and Chris for putting together such a meaningful hunt. Tresa you did an excellent job with the photos, they really capture the great times everybody had. UKC is a great registry that does a lot for the dogs and everyone involved. Glad to be apart of it and can't wait for next years hunt!
Wow, what a wonderful event!
My husband and I and our two boys had an absolute blast. I am so delighted we had the opportunity the share wiith them such a fun and memorable day.
We are still blown away by the event... The effort that was put forth by the good people who put this event together for the kids, the trophies, the prizes, and scholarships! Not to mention, all of the great kids, families, and hounds we became acquainted with throughout the day. It was all above and beyond anything we could have imagined. This was a great way to increase enthusiasm for the sport and also a confidence builder for all the kids involved. We certainly look forward to coming back again.
Thank you to all who were involved in the day we won't soon forget.

If you were unable to attend this year's NBPPA Youth Hunt, please mark it down as a must go to next year. As so many have already said, this was the most fun I have ever had a field trial. Our daughter Avery is still talking about how much fun she had and telling everyone about the awesome stuff she won. Keep in mind this was the first year for the trial and the NBPPA and everyone involved hit it out of the park. From the cool t-shirts to the huge trphies to the unbelievable prizes it was a day that the kids will never forget. The group of kids that participated were so much fun to be around. It was a very rewarding experience. Thanks to everyone involved in making this a great day and also a huge thanks to the businesses and comapanies that so graciously donated.

Thank you to everyone that posted about the hunt!
The NBPPA appreciates all the kind words! We can not wait to start working on the next one. It may be bigger but for me personally I just don't know how anything could be better than that. I will remember all of those excited kids for the rest if my life! Anyone that did not attend truely missed out on a very awesome fun filled day.
Thank you to everyone that had a hand in organizing this event. No easy task but well worth the effort. These youth events are truly a "feel good" event. Everyone should try to attend one in the future. You will come away with a renewed sense of pride in your kids, your hounds, your sport, your fellow houndsmen. It's hard to describe. You really need to experience it.
I want to especially thank Tresa on behalf of UKC for the excellent event coverage. She did this on her own time and was able to introduce the sport to her younger brother in the process.
I hope this is the first of many more successful youth events in the future.
