marshell gps

does any one on here know if marshall is coming out with a gps unit? had a buddy tell me that marshall could'nt because garmin had all the rights to the satilites and if marshall came out with one garmin could sue them plus they would'nt have access to satilites.is any of that true?

Marshall is in the final stages of their GPS. It's been a few years to work out all the kinks, but I have been told that it should be out at Autumn Oaks. There are alot of rumors out and about, but the fact is that Marshall is going to have a GPS. Hope this helps. Also Marshall GPS will be combined with a beep system all on the same system and collar.

Looks like they would of been faster coming out. It will really have to be extra special to top the garmin. I don't see it happening and Marshall rumors about coming out in a few months have been going on for bout 5 yrs.

Micheal, I know what you mean, the rumors have been floating around for the past two to three years. But they are testing the units and fine tuning them and are quite possitive on being out at Autumn Oaks. I do think they will be a super nice units when done, just my thoughts.

i bet with all the time they have had reading about all the bad things people say about Garmin they will be better than a Garmin,or at least they should be anyway , beep beep and a GPS built into one ,now that is a tracking system right there

No I am not a field Tester, but that is who I talked with a field tester. He said it was close and he understood about the long time of getting it out but I believe it will be a fine unit. Jim, you are right it sure sounds like the best thing to come, never any dead or dropped signals, I can't wait for them to come out so I can get one and try it out.

They had the tracking collars figured out. I know that. I hope they do come out with a good un. I could use more range myself. I just hope its not a monthly fee type deal. I have enough monthly payments lol.

Marshall will bring one out as soon as they can figure out how to make us think it is worth $1000 dollars.

you will pay it jim, i have a strong feeling alot of garmins will be for sale in the classifieds

Posted by BWSupplies on 04-01-2012 02:55 PM:

I hope they are price comparable to Garmin...
Marshall is known for a good product and high prices.
You know many will want the latest and greatest but a steep price will turn many away just because they can't afford it.

Wow!!! Now right there is a MAJOR case of talking out of your backside.
You don't know me or what I buy or what will ever buy. I have prolly been coonhunting longer than you have been alive, I've owned trackers since they came out and GPS since it was invented. I've never owned a Marshall because I didn't care to spend a thousand to do what I could do just as well for less than half that much and I seriously doubt I will upgrade from my Garmin to anything Marshall offers, assuming they ever actually offer anything.
