pistol holsters

i got rid of my beretta neos and picked up a ruger mark III. I basically want to use this for coon hunting and bow hunting in the north woods. I tried the hip holsters and with every little gadget now it seems to get in the way. Im left handed so thats makes things even funner finding a holster. I had a thigh holster for the neos and didnt like it, always seemed like it was riding low and uncomfortable. Now this ruger i was going to get a shoulder holster. Any ideas of a good one? I was looking at Uncle mikes and ready holster. Thanks-here are the links of both of them but just looking for any imput

I hunt with the mk111 and im a lefty also, the one that works the best for me is called a bandoleer holster. Most of them are reversible and alot easier to get on and off than a sholder rig.

I like the horiontal better than the vertical one. It will not get in the way.
The on I have can be use for the right or left. Just unclip and move to the other side.

here is the one I have. I carry my 9mm with two extra mags.

I been looking at the 4 in drop holster. either way eBay has been the cheapest and best deals. I have also look at the shoulder holster. I say for just coonhunting the shoulder will be the best. if you go on eBay just type in military holster, they are some on there for 17 dollar with free shipping. good luck

i just got a holster off ebay it is fully inclosed and zips up to prevent loss and it has 3 zipperd pockets to hold shells and permission slips.the 1 pocket is large enough for a drink it has 1 strap for over your shoulder and a set of belt loops for the side i think i am really gonna like it.

too many little parts that you cant get when you need them-i had a roller bearing go out, a real tiny one. Every hardware store around doesnt carry them and still waiting on beretta to send me one. Takes a while for them if something does go out on them. And accuraccy is alright but looking for something a little tighter groups.

Thanks everyone for the replies, now that WI has that concealed carry effective as of next week I wanted to find something that is comfortable but also has a good review

thanks,
i call it my coonhunting sniper pistol,
i line the 2 dots up on the coons eyes and down it comes.
the scope has a 2" tube and a red/green lighted dot and the trace lazer has the red dot,i use the green dot on the scope with the red lazer dot and put it between them 2 yellow dots in the tree and the rest is history..

i'm not done with it ,,i may have to get another holster or get this one modified,,i plan on adding a police torch light under the barrell that has a built in video recorder ,,

i have one of them walkietalkie collars to put on the dog also.
working on a systen to put a wireless wifi cam on the dog also,,just got to figure out the battery style for the 9volts it takes run the wifi cam and the walkietalkie power supply without making it too heavy for the dog to carry..

already have the ant. system for the laptop/netbook to do the watching on,,,

isnt the electronic world wonderful,,
