Astro 220 and dc40
I want to know if anyone could tell me the best place to get a astro 220 and 2 dc 40 collars. I have always used a wildlife system and I am ready to take the plunge.(Just hope the wife don't find out.) Ha Ha! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

astro 220
Thanks for the responses but now have me thinking if I should get the DC30 or DC40.What are the pros and cons of each. Thanks
Bruce Conckley. You won't get any better service than from Bruce.I got mine from bruce and at the time he said i should get the 30. Give bruce a call and he won't guide you wrong.
I bought a dc40 from cabelas and could not get but 450 yards at the most before loosing signal. it would loose signal at different yardages but would pick the collar right back up, you would not even know it if you had the alarm cut off and did not stare at it continuously. but loosing signal at 450 yards for good was a problem.
I had been told I may have just gotten a bad one. not wanting to take a chance on another one I sent it back and ordered a dc30 from bruce, he gave me a good deal on it.
Ebay is the cheapest place. The DC 40 works great havn't had any problems. If you purchase a 40 and already have an older astro you do have to update the astro before it will work properly. Shouldn't have any problem with everything new.

if you buy the astro with the dc 40 it works great if you just buy a 40 and put on your old astro dont work well intill you get on garmin and update
conkeys hunting supply treated me right and bruce even took the time to explain some things tome. i have dc 30's never had a problem. you can buy a little cheaper on ebay, erwin.com and nextag but from bruce you get excellent service and someone who knows what they selling. jmo
