self feeders. You don't have to fill them up. Just put what you normaly do in the feeders and the dogs can get to it and the birds can't.
If you don't want to spend the money on them just quit feeding more than your dogs will eat right then..........If the birds take it from the dogs while they are eating..........shoot the dogs and hunt the birds.........LOL

Hmmm another plus for self feeders, never thought about it, but it is true. Birds can't get in, food stays clean, end of birdie problem.

Now if I can just get them to stop sitting on top the kennels, which drives the young dogs nuts. Also squirrels, dang things, they know where the dogs can and can't go and crawl right up the trees beside them. The dogs tree and tree and the squirrels just sit and look at them.

I shock mine off the squirels. Had an old hunter watch me and he wanted to kill me. He said he would be out there praiseing the crap out of them for that. I told him he would have a lot of blanke trees and it couldn't be tollerated in town anyway.....LOL

Bird netting or poultry netting?

I have a self feeder and they still fly in. The kennels are also covered by 6 foot roof.

I hung one of those plastic owls from Tractor Supply up and the birds don't fly in now.

get some of those thin alluminuim pie pans that are about 8-10 inches in diameter and tie a couple together and hang em up in the wind that's what my grandfather did back in the day.kept birds and other critters away from the garden.
the boys down at the local marina where the boats are kept put up life size fake owls, keeps the birds from crapping on the boats that are kept there all year long

Never ask a man what kind of dog he has. If he has a hound he'll tell you, if he does not, you don't want to shame him by asking.
