My sidekick was freezin to death so we never went. The lane is covered in fresh track's since the snow stopped. Matt & I was just checkin them out.

Be a good one tonight but mercy is this flippin ice ever raisin cane with their feet. A half hour of playin fetch & we had some bloody track's bein left already. Cut's hi up on the toe's to instead of around the nail's like usual.

You go?

nooooo, the wind was crazy up on the hill..i froze my a$$ off trimming cows yesterday..we didn't get much for snow unless it blew down in the bottoms..everything is hard packed and ice around here. should make it better for humans to get around now, if ya can stay upright..i busted my ice cleats the other night and can't find my spares..hunted sunday night for a bit, managed to catch one..the wind was blow'in a little that night too..but not as bad as lastnight. sounds like it will get ruff the next few days, below zero and full moon will make it ruff hunt'in around here..need to get in the deep hollers and thicker timbers i guess.

North & east side tonight among the bluff's & gorge's should be a good bet?

Collarin up a year old housedawg & punchin her out the door in a bit. The dang thing's was usin the lane as a drag strip last night. See what happen's I reckon ? Can't find out on the couch....LOL!! Might need to check into some of them cleat's. Sure be nice in a lot of places. Get's kinda hairy out there at time's!

i bought a couple pair two yrs ago at farm&fleet..purty cheap and last longer than my boots..i wear em hunting and at work when the cow yards are iced up..need traction pushing 1500lb thru the chute!!

Been thru that pushin thing, you deffinately need any advantage you can get

Ben went huntin tonight up in the 'nort country. Treed one & seen other's settin up. Got some bleedin feet all the way around.

+5 degree's...............

tell ben to wise up, start wearing boots in this weather..ice and pine needles are hard on the feet!!!LOL

Dave you would be surprised how well a guy can stay on top of the snow with out boots on. LOL!

Put one in a dozer pile last night out of a lil cornfeild nestled in among the timber. Seen one on the road as we was goin by a quarry. Heard a couple fightin when we first turned loose.

Just about like day time out there with this bright moon shinin off'n the ice.

genetics plays a roll here too!!! my brother and i he is (10 yrs. older) anyway couple years ago we were going to help a guy with a down horse and we hadda cross some deep crusted snow, he was first and we walked the same route and i guess he must have broke the crust's carrying ability cuz i was sinkin an' he was floatin!!!! it just wasn't fair!! he has alot of my/our dads characteristics and am following in my mothers family traits, not as tall,no blue eyes and a tad more middle!! hey ,what are the hides like on the late coon you've been gettin? clean and good or rubbed and stinky!!
