What do you use?

What do you use in the dog houses to keep your dogs warm? Straw, Hay, Wood chips, What kind etc???

I use a hay called Coastal Grass in the winter, in the summer i will use either Pine or Cedar Chips.

I use good clean prairie hay. I would use love grass hay if I could find it. Prairie hay doesn't track out or hold moisture and bad as straw and love grass is even better about both. Use to be able to find it up around Shawnee but haven't seen any around here.

STRAW , WITH CEDAR CHIP'S . ALSO HAVE BOX OPENING'S COVERED WITH STRIPS OF RUBBER - KINDA LIKIE A DOGGIE DOOR IT WORKS GREAT , YOU CAN PUT YOUR HAND BACK IN THE BOX IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER AMD YOU CAN TELL A BIG DIFFERENCE IN TEMP .

straw all year, Its hollow so they stay warmer in winter.
