Northway Breeding

DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK A NORTHWAY BRED DOG IS ATLEAST HARD TO BEAT BECAUSE OF THE EXTREME HUNT IN THEM ,.. I HAVE NEVER HAD A MORE CONSTINENT HUNT OUT OF ANY OTHER BREED AND HAVE TRIED MANY

You gotta love them Northway dogs! The most consistent dog in our kennel is our youngest female named Annie, she is purely Northway & Reffett's bred.

The Reffett's stuff is just great imo . It so well with
so many other bloodlines too .

the ones i've seen are pretty consistant hunters. I would'nt say extreme but good hunt! thats just my observations!

i've been running with a guy named elliot peters he's got a kennel full of northway/ reffit dogs, he puts those dogs to the test day n and day out. They are run to death wake up and do it all over again the next day..he's a die hard rabbit hunter with some die hard gun dogs. he does'nt field trial, but prbly should!

Lol I don't imagine it will be tough to talk elliot into rabbit hunting with us sometime! I'll let him know!! All we need to tell him is when & where and he'll prbly be waiting on us lol.

i have a young female that is reffett's and northway breed northwy is a few gen. back but she is a rabbit running machine may be the best young dog i've ever seen in fact i have her for sale money is tight since i've been laid off but she is still my favorite female
