Last Nites Hunt(October 12)

Went for just a quick hunt last nite. First drop I turned both my dogs loose, Prancer & Hooker. Hooker had the strike, Prancer struck right behind her they run him to the back end of the field and treed him.
Next drop I turned Hooker & my fathers 9 mnth old Son female, Ellie they went around the field and never got struck.

Always love to see Prancer ESP. love to HEAR him! He DID wake Wyatt today...LOL... he was wiggling his nose trying to smell what they were telling him was in the tree...

John Wick look at that pic. Bet that pic will be on the back of coon hound blood lines. If that isnt a tri tronics ad pic than I dont know what is. Look at all that hardware on that hounds neck. surprise it can even tree.

Maybe try puttin another collar on it next time.

Heather I figured you'd like to see that. Poor boys been sittin home to much didn't even get a chance to get him out last week, but he sure shined last nite 1 drop for him and he had a 2nd & 1st. I can't wait to cross those two.

Luke yeah he does have alot of collars on :P I prefer to use the tracker lights over a lighted collar but i'm down to 1 tracker light so poor Prancer gets stuck with the lighted collar, if you noticed the size of the female its hard to find room to get it on her lol. I always run the tri-tronics on my own dogs, it don't do you any good sittin home thats for sure.

Tonites Hunt(October 13)

Turned Hooker & Ellie out for one drop, Hooker struck run a track in off the back end of the corn and treed. Ellie was at the other end of the field when she struck seen her light she went into her and was around the tree, stood up on the tree a bit and barked some not to bad for third time out and 9 mnths old.

Yeah, hopefully she'll be as good as you Ellie dog. She shows some interest, probally needs a few cage coons. With any luck I will get her doing a bit before we have to quit hunting for the winter.
I use my tri-tronics more for catching them than anything else, even so I rarely push the button but its there when I do need to.

Laura some nice to have high-speed ain't it ...
