its a shot and your vet should have it. the sooner you use it the less likely there will be any complications so i was told. some of which esentially end up with your dog needing to be spayed.

Just knock them in the head. Aborting pups can screw up your female. Talk to your vet, they will know about possible complications.

Most vet's in Wi. won't give that shot anymore. Been thru this. Good luck with your litter.

raise and sell as "designer puppies" the public seems so nuts over. LOL! probably sell for more than a coonhound puppy. LOL!

female got bred this summer and vet gave her the shot next day I believe and it had no affects on her, other than changed her heat cycle alittle later the next time!

We gave a female the shot last spring. Just to let you know that this dog has not come in since. We even had her around the other females when they are in heat, it still didn't matter. And the shot was given by the vet in Wi.

I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED LUDALICE, THEY USE IT FOR COWS, BUT SOME VETS WILL DELUTE IT WITH WATER AND YOU GOTTA GIVE THEM 5 SHOTS OF IT. I DID IT WITH A FEAMALE BEAGLE AND IT WORKED. COST ME AROUND 100 DOLLARS.

i'm taking her in and getting her spade.

most vets won't give the shots due to later complications including breat cancer tumors and knocking there cycles off some never come in heat again or never have a normal cycle if you ever wan't to breed her i wouldn't take the chance
