However, Crowley appeared to backtrack just a few hours after she left the GOP candidate exposed on the stage in front of millions of viewers. She admitted that Romney had been 'right in the main' but added that he had 'picked the wrong word'.

and how about this tidbit, real classy

The row intensified when Michelle Obama was caught on camera applauding Crowley's intervention - despite rules banning members of the audience from clapping or otherwise showing support during the debate, which has been called the 'most rancorous' in history.

Anyone that thinks President Obama called it a terrorist act the day after has been smoking something. If that was the case than this whole argument wouldn't be occuring in the first place. Even Candy Crowley after the debate admitted Romney was correct that the administration didn't call it a terrorist attack until way later. I thought it was a very good debate, and Romney will keep his momentum. He has the facts behind him, and as long as he keeps pointing out Obama's record he will do well.

she admited it on cnn this morning, she was wrong. its to late tho the damage has been done when she run to obamas aid and people took her side with inital response, first impressions rule even if not true. so thats the stategy from here on out like ryan said; they make them out to be liars when we're telling truth, sad.

she needs to retract statement on national tv, but it won't happen. somethings right in the world today and everybody knows their wrong, but they don't give a ****.

Nobody's cryin. They are just stating the fact that she couldn't take her Obama lapel pin off long enough to be moderator.

Obama told an absolute bald faced lie in the debate and she then lied with him to keep him from looking as bad.

All you have to do is look at the transcript. He never, not once, called it a terrorist attack that day. Not even close.

It was a lie and not only was he allowed to get away with it a supposed moderator lied with him to help him cover it up.

Track, read the transcripts. What Obama said was a bald faced lie period. No way you can spin that.

He wasn't talking about that attack, he was talking about generalities.

No different than when you say "neither sleet nor rain" etc about the mail were you talking about a particular storm.

He lied, period and she lied to back him up.

She even admitted it afterward.

Plain, out and out lie.

This is from CBS NEWS. Obama LIED.

"But Crowley's comments were not entirely accurate. Let's look at the transcript of those September 12 comments in the Rose Garden, as the president suggested.

It shows that the president did refer to "acts of terror" - but not specifically in reference to the Libya attack. Instead, he made a broader statement about American defiance.

"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for," he said.

You can make the case that the president was referring to the Libya attacks as well as other "acts of terror," since he made the comment in the course of a statement about those attacks. But the stronger case would seem to be that the president did NOT specifically refer to the attack as an act of terror - as Romney said."

It is even more evident when you realize right before the generalized phrase he was talking about 9/11. He never even came close to saying Libya was a terrorist attack and in fact he bandied about the lie of a video for close to two weeks.

So even CBS says both Obama AND the moderator LIED (not entirely accurate LOL what a nice way to call her a liar).

Let's drop it. Those with blinders on are never going to see it and furthermore candy is helping Barry more right now because everyone is talking about her dumb a$$ which moved the focus away from barry's 4 years of utter failure.

Barry and the gang love it that we a talking about some trivial crap rather than what really matters. Let's keep our eye on the prize.....getting our country back in a few weeks!
