Barked out voice. Help!

Any body got good suggestions for a dog with a hoarse voice? Dog got loose n was treed for ? Long n voice is real hoarse. I’ve heard people using yellow mustard, honey n lemon. Anybody got any other fixes other than rest? Thanks

I’ve heard a lot of talk about LA200. I have never used it myself and some say it doesn’t do all that is claimed. The only success I have had is to rest the dog until better. A quick vet visit may get you some prednisone which will help.

Prednisone, keep quiet, and cross your fingers. All of the other home remedies have never helped anything for me.

Rest, rest , and rest. Not the answer you wanted but it's the remedy. Some things may sooth it, but time is the cure. La 200 is not gonna do a dog that's barked out.

I started her on yellow mustard yesterday and got a bark collar on her to keep her quiet. She’ll have at least 3 weeks to rest anyways cause she just came in season last night🤦‍♂️Thanks for the help. We’ll c what happens

No miracle cure for sure. I would use predisone or similar steroid as mentioned . Most importantly keep dog quiet and let throat heal.

Dexamethasone for inflammation , Honey helps heal and Bark collar keeps him quiet. If that combo don't help nothing will.

DEXAMETHASONE IS A CORTICOSTEROID IT HELPS WITH INFLAMATION AS WELL AS LOTS OF OTHER THINGS, IT IS GIVE TO CANCER PATIENTS ALOT, I HAVE CANCER AND COULDNT TOLERATE DEXA
