NEW Trail Cam Pics
Got a few pics from this past week and several from just last night. This cam is set just a few yards behind my house. It's pretty cool seeing what all's out there and how they interact with each other.
I bait with chopped corn with some grape Koolaid mixed in once in a while. And the Predators came after I killed a deer this week and threw the bones out there.

This last one is some sort of critter that I see all the time in my woods. These things are thick around here and plumb aggravating, especially if the dogs get after one.

I feel your pain! Critters like that last one pictured used to cause me many sleepless nights, worse than coonhunting ! Garmin and my wife put a stop on me chasing offgame, I am straight on coons now, won't even tree a possum. LOL. Dave

Yes Dave. By the way, I have an inside source at UKC that tells me off the record that Sambo treed one of these at the World Hunt, and that's what all the uproar is about.
Apparently the cast voted on it, and 2 members wanted to scratch him for off game, while the other 2 voted to give him double plus points. Hence forth all the controversy.
Of course I wasn't there, but this is what my source at UKC tells me off the record.

You just might be on the right track ( or not ), either way it would be a hard call to make. I am leaning to the double plus points option as it just wouldn't seem right to minus for off game. It's been said that Richard Lambert trains his red dogs to tree chickens andI that sure looked like a "chick" to me. Plus him up, I saw those eyes. Dave

Awesome to see a large bobcat interact like that with coon. Great pictures.
What in the world was my wife doing in Missouri?

I just checked the cam and here's another sequence of pics from last night that are cool.
In this first pic, the bobcat seems to be eating the deer carcass peaceably with the coons....
But notice the 2nd pic, the possums are there when the bobcat arrives..... Then in the 3rd pic, the bobcat grabs a possum and is running off with it.
Some of you wish you had that cat to thin out your local possum herd !
Check the pics below;
