Yes i want to go on record and say im a recovering foxtard. I use to buy in and be brainwashed by the foxnews talking heads and i guess i was a puppet. If nothing good comes from this election then i guess this will be my silver lining. I know dont trust any of the media whether they wear red or blue. Thanks Donald!

Money does not corrupt HONESTY. Money does not corrupt INTEGRITY. If those things can be corrupted, they weren't truly there to start with!!! There's DIGNITY, RESPECT, FAIRNESS, COMPASSION, LOVE, ETC. Money doesn't corrupt these things, if they are real!!!

Great post! I agree 100%! That's what is wrong with so much of our Government and the policies it implements. Consider the following.

1) HONESTY and INTEGRITY- Look at so many of our elected leaders and those who would like to become our elected leaders, any HONESTY and INTEGRITY issues there?

2) DIGNITY and RESPECT- Our most vulnerable and innocent are treated as something that is disposable.

3) FAIRNESS- Our tax system penalizes success and rewards underachievement.

4) COMPASSION and LOVE- Our welfare system is traps generations in poverty.

So much of the things described above are, in fact, rooted in the love of money, but also in the lust for power.

CHARACTER, the way we are when no one but God is looking, really is the foundation of what it will take to truly make the changes we need.

I think you may have missed the forest for the trees. I was simply using our Government, and the policies it implements, as an example of how money doesn't corrupt the true CHARACTER of which you spoke. I suppose I could have used another example (sports, from little kids to paid professionals, would be a good one). There are no "versions" of those things you listed as some of the traits that make up CHARACTER. I strive to maintain a Biblical sense of each of those traits no matter what subject I may be discussing. I don't separate my "personal and public positions" (Hillary Clinton, 2013 speech to the National Multifamily Housing Council).

I hope this clears things up a bit. I apologize for any misunderstanding. I'm sure we agree on many other things as well.
