Knowing tonight might be her last I went out to the kennel at 10:30 pm to check on her and found the ol' girl had taken her last breath and gone to coonhound heaven.

My memory of Blueberry
Not only was she easy on the eyes, she was lightning fast!
I remember watching her in a couple field trials and water races and she was super fast and was like a little motor boat in the water! She will be missed but made so many happy memories for you all.

Thank you to everyone on your kind thoughts.
Now........ my thoughts of Ol' Blue - Until Blue was 6 or 7 years old she was a high strung hunting dog in a beautiful show dog body, just ask my oldest daughter Amanda who was tasked with showing her. I got the enjoyment of Water racing, field trialing & hunting her and she excelled at all three.
As she got older she slowed a bit and finally realized what the girls wanted from her as a show dog, winning Southern English days, English days and Winter classic at 10 years old.
She was a good coon dog and hopefully our youngster, Scratch learned a few things from her last fall as she will have to do it on her own this year.
I'll sure miss walking into the tree and not seeing you looking up and telling the whole world there's a coon up this tree!!!
