Right now, the best one I have used / seen is the one Sam Davis at Superior Lights builds, very bright and burn time is good.
I think it's about $150 ?

i have the sunspot spotlight and the superior spotlight. love em both and use the crap out of both.

i like the alum housing of sunspot its bullet proof. its bright and actually will catch eyes when use it correctly but i hate all the "rings", "halos", "artifacts", whatever you wanna call em in the beam. love the light though and used it a ton during calving and still do checking cows and what not. extra halos and wide beam actually handy when working.

superior spotlight is tight beam with no artifacts, carry that one on my hunting vest for finding fur in trees when no eyes. works awesome couldnt ask for anything better.

like i said both lights handy but when need to find coon superior is go to light.

Mnb&t....no rings or halos on the new silver bullets...we found a reflector to eliminate them and tighten the spot to a pure pentrating neutral color that picks up definition..thanks

are the new caplites using new reflector as well? that was one of my complaints of "sunlight yellow" with higher lux. every light ive seen in woods liked the white better. i figured reflector could be part of extra halos but thought was mostly removing dome of led.

As of right now I'm leaning toward the silver bullet but plan on seeing what all is available at English Days this weekend.

Can you put the "new" reflector on an "old" spotlight?
