We had a good hunt last night. Made 4 trees and looked at two. My young dog treed first on the second tree, but even thou it was a good tree, I think he missed him. The last tree we made, they ran him about 1200 yards. I was beginning to think they were on off game, but little Clara locked down treed, with Case and Merle right behind her. Oh it sounded beautiful. They had treed up a big Tuple Gum covered with moss. He looked once and that was it. We called it a night after that last tree. Claude Smith and his two grandsons, Emit, and Lane hunted with us. I think them two boys had a really good time. They sure can talk too. LOL You should see them boys lead Big Merle. He almost as big as them kids. LOL
