Blackman Country Hick

Anybody hunting dogs sired by Hick? Just wondering how there doing and what he has been bred to.

Got one sired by Hick and Womack's Hardtime Holly. Bought from MC Blackmon at 6 months old. He's coming 6 in August. Was a natural tree dog from the first coon he saw. Easiest dog I ever started. Just sold him to a man in Canada.

Got a female off hick and womacks hard time holly (nasty) same as dog above never been to the woods much but will run and tree her own and very good looking .she is a half sister to my Willard dog

Rodney He better grow some thick fur where he's going it's still cold. Gone be a big change from middle Ga. He's going to farm country where they got lots of coon. He's still here now waiting on the dog hauler.

I know he had that litter Hick was out of. He can tell you all about the bottom side.
Kelly Rainey who handled dogs for Mr. Blackmon said Hick was a better dog than Rollen Rock. I never saw or hunted with Hick but Rollen Rock was in the kennel when I bought a pup from Mr. Blackmon and he was super loud at 10 yrs old.

According to his info he does not get on here very much and his Email was undeliverable.

We had a good time with this line of dogs if you like dogs that getup close on a coon and don't suck the hind end of a track try you some of this stock.
