4 Health Dog Food

Anybody else feed it? WOW is all i can say......Ive been feeding it to a female thats on 8 pups that are the nicest, fattest, healthiest lookin pups ive ever saw, also feeding it to a young male that i was having trouble keeping weight on and he looks great. It costs a little more but well worth it.

Don't know why, but when I had a pup he wouldn't eat any of it. We wasted so much food from him knocking the bowl over. For some reason he just didn't have anything to do with it. We switched him to purina puppy chow and he ate like crazy after that. I know 4Health is good stuff but for some reason it wasn't for him

Thats weird.....i guess theyre all different. My young male would just nibble at Hi-Standard and Pride, but really likes the 4health.

Hands down best feed on the market period. Grain free meat based from a variety of meat sorces dogs all look fat and have a great glossy coat on them. u really can't beat it!

I think 4 Health is made by Diamond for Tractor Supply.
Anyone know this to be true?
The ingredients look to be the same as Diamond Naturals.
Only difference I see is with 4 Health you get 5 pounds less for the same price ($31.99 here)

Its true, Diamond makes 4 Health. To many recalls, and if you hunt hard, it makes dogs run very hot. So, most around here have gotten away from Diamond, and 4 Health products. Also, they will not help support our sport what so ever! I worked in the feed industry for years.

Paul, I had to go back to Purina, seems its the only feed my dogs perform good on. Notice, I said "my dogs". Each dog is different. Pro Plan is expensive, but not to bad if you don't have a bunch of hounds to feed. If ya have a few to feed, I like dog chow with a can of tuna mixed in it. A can of tuna at the local grocery store here is 70 cents a can. So, thats not to expensive. Seems to work real well. You get the meat from the tuna and they have plenty of energy and are slick and healthy. I hunt 3-5 nights a week and they hold up well. This past years *KC and UKC world champions were being fed dog chow, when they were being hunted hard for the world hunt, so I know this combo works. Just food for thought guys. Greg

Will, I've fed it several times and raised a litter of plott pups on it. I always really liked it. Bottom line is if it works for you and you see good results, stick with it! There's something out there for everyone, just gotta find what works for you. I've fed Diamond extreme athlete, and their naturals lamb & rice both with excellent results!! I've also tried the taste of the wild (also made by diamond) and it's really pricey but also excellent feed.

We were feeding dog chow for awhile and just couldn't do it anymore. Way too much sh!t to clean up and had to feed twice the amount. We always come back to good old high standard, the dogs love it, look good & perform well and the clean up is way better. And it's affordable which is hard to find when feeding 10+ hounds.

I sure like it so far Danielle. I used to feed Native til the price got out of hand and I decided to shop around and try a few different kinds. I wasn't happy with any of them until 4Health.
