RIP Richard Claypoole

Richard was a good man who loved blueticks. he has been selling memberships for bbcha for as long as I can remember and doing it with a smile o his face. Richard will be missed greatly

I'm sorry to here this news. I've known Richard and Mike Williamson for over 20 years. Richard was a good old time houndsman. He was an old wolf hunter from back in the day. He was a great supporter of the BBCHA, a longtime board member, and great supporter of the Bluetick breed and support to younger hunters/houndsmen. What a loss. Prayers go out to his family.

Sorry to hear about Richard. He was a mainstay at the Fall Roundup and I always enjoyed talking with him. The picture is at the Roundup when it was held down in Tenn. a few years back. George Kiesler is also in the picture. Two real good guys that followed the Blue dogs.

I met Mr. Claypoole once and he was the type of man that I enjoyed talking to.
So sorry to hear of his passing and he will be missed.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Claypool passing. Been reading about him since I started with the blue dogs. Met him at the fall round up a couple of years ago. Mr. Claypool. Mike Williamson, Dean Bell and I had dinner one night. What joy to hear him talk about dogs that passed his way over the years. Jerry

Mr. Richard is at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Caldwell KS, services will be at the Methodist Church Wednesday April, 26 at 2:00 pm.

Richard was one of the finest men you could shake hands with. A bluetick man at heart, his dogs were a bigger part of his life than most know. He was at our local hunt last Saturday, had that little grin on and a pocket full of BBCHA membership cards.

A good man and friend, sure will miss seeing him.

I Met Richard at Flora for the first time a few years back.Super Nice Man and He sure did Love his Bluetick Hounds.When I think of Richard I think of him having BBCHA membership cards with him.
I had a good conversation with him at the Battle.I`m sure he had a impact on everyone he met.he will be missed.
