Small Game on Sundays

I think they should have small game hunting, only, on Sundays, state wide, during deer season. At least it would give you another day to squirrel hunt your dogs during deer season. I'am not all that charged up about hunting on sunday but I don't think the working man gets to hunt his dog enough. By the time the leafs go off and then deer season comes in you don't have many days left to hunt your dog. By the way, I'am retired but I remember what it was like when I was working.

Deer hunting has done more to eliminate small game hunting than PETA will do in the next 100 years.

We have to much deer season. But they say that's where they make their money. The state that is. I can not think of one single thing the state does for the small game hunter. If there is one I don,t know what it is. Maybe someone could enlighten me.

i agree way to much deer season i wish it would go back the way it was 2 weeks of buck season last 2 days hunters choice but like ya say state makes a bunch of money on these extra stamps so you can kill 7 or 8 deer legaly

Nah....need more goat season....let it come in first week of April and and go out the 3rd week of September. Me and the dawgs wont disturb nobody all the way through March!!

It's like everything else in this country, driven by the Insurance lobby. They take a hit of a few pennies and throw some scary number about how much money they spend on deer vehicle collisions and try to say it's a profit loss.

dang that is way to much wonder y'all got any deer left

It also runs that long to try and control the over population of the Deer Herd. In My Opinion, I'd rather they'd use birth control instead of the extended kill seasons!!

They have eliminated the deer herd here pretty much. Besides on my farm. I ain't killing them all off like these folks around me. I can see 10 to 20 all the time. They everywhere. Same with the coons. I got em stacked in here. Have had hundreds turned loose here. They my breed stock.
