Pound hunts
Are there any pound hunts scheduled in southern ohio the year?
Ttt
Where is it that usually has them was it Owensville or Mt.Orab?I heard from my brother you were packin a real nice coondog.
I always try to look for these and never have any luck
I know I have hunted a few out of mt. Orab. If none of the clubs are going to have any we should try and get some together on our own.
My Lou dog looks better every night I take him. He did look good the night your brother hunted with me and Jeff. He is still young.
Right on.That would be good. What is that young dog out of?
From central texas and wondering what a pound hunt is. Have not heard of one before.

Payton No problem
Get a hold of me anytime, Ledbetter not sure where your at in ohio sorry
Sounds good to me Corey. My best female just had her Reezen pups this week so I ant got much to hunt.Im ready to break her out as soon as these pups are weaned.Id like to check out that young dog of yours though.Pm me your number.
I could be wrong but I think a pound hunt is where everyone pays money to enter and whomever knocks out the fattest and most feeder bucket coons wins the pot. I think they throw all the needless coons you harvested on a scale and whomever has the most weight wins!
And, I could be dead wrong. Maybe they say whoever gets closest to a 10lb coon wins. But then again, what is going to stop someone from shooting out 4-5 coons and weiging in the one closest to 10lbs they harvested, still the same difference!
