I have been looking at a home and 5 acres of land there...Wayne national forest would be my back yard....
I don't know what its like where your at now, but sardis is still in 'hill" country.
I am about an hour and a half east. I hunt over around that area a lot..and its not the flat land patch woods loaded with coons type of area like a lot of people think. Hills, strip jobs and farmland is what it mostly consists of with a decent coon population.
Give me a yell if ya get up this way..be more than glad to turn a dog or two loose with ya.

Sardis, new madamorris, fly ohio
They are all small towns in a row right on the river, great coon hunting & monster bucks
Live right across the river from sardis in new martinsville wv. coon population is good off game is plentiful deer, fox, coyote, some top hounds and handlers live in the area as well...terrain amything from very steep to moderate hills decent amount of water, and a few dairy farms in the area.
