Moonlight Big D pups?

Just wondering if anyone is hunting Moonlight Big D pups? I have a 6 month old female pup that is coming along pretty well, out of him and a NTCH female out of the Red Rocker and a female from the Rouser/Music cross.

Just curious if anybody has some info on what kind of dogs he is reproducing.

Thanks

BIG D PUPS

I have two, male and female.18 months old,big and loud easy on the eyes.male is one hard tree dog. Female is better on the track, will get first strike 80% of the time and will get deep,800 yards is very common. That might not be deep for a lot of guy's but in the mnt's of N.C. that is along way's. Mine is line bred 3x kate, what is your big d pup out of.

I like the bottom half of the ped. Like me you have line bred off Kate. She had coon dog's with any thing she was bred too.done better with the pepper blood. Keep me informed on D"s pup.

Took her for a walk today on a trail next to the river with my brother and his 3 year old redbone. They both walk by this tree that's got a big hole in the bottom of it, they do a hard 180 and start trying to get into it and start blowing up. We pull em back and look in the hole and there is a coon in there taking a nap. I let her raise hell on it for awhile and then had to drag her away from the tree. Kept walking and once we turned around to head back, she was pulling the whole way to get back to the tree and started blowing up on it again. She's only seen one caged coon before this, so I think she's coming along pretty good.

Big d pup

I'm picking up my Big D pup tonight. Already know who I'm gonna breed her to when she makes a coondog. It is going to be a packed pedigree of top reproducers and all coonhounds.

Ron

I want to thank Ron Swann for selling me a very nice little female out of Big D and Ron's Ann female. She is a little ball of fire and I like her a lot. The pedigree on her is loaded with supercross hounds and she will continue that if I have any say in it. I was very glad to be able to get her. Thanks Ron she is a nice acting pup.

Watch out for Sawblade Dixie Ann

Ron Swann

I'd like to thank Mr. Swann for my pup also. I'm fairly new to coon hunting and it was fun to hear his stories about some of the dogs he's owned over the years.

Sawblade - Any clues as to what your super cross on this pup is gonna look like?

yes

I bought this pup in hopes she will prove to be a solid coonhound. If she does turn out. she will be bred to a young male owned by Ryan Briggs that I've been hunting with a lot. He is heavy line bred on the bloodline we have here and is as good at 12 months old as I have seen. 3x Doc ,3X Fiddle, 2X Sandy Creek Jake. That means a bunch of Rocky/Maggie and way back 7x Famous Amos ,and as much or more Littleman and PokeyBill. If I cross these two there would be very few hounds that would have more Famous Amos. not to mention the amounts of the other great dogs.
All you can do is plan and keep working at it.

That definitely looks like a cross full of top dogs. I hope she turns out to be a good one for you. I'll keep an eye out for Sawblade Dixie Ann.

If there anything like my BIG D pups I hope your wife will get you a new pair of boot's for your B'day.Casue you will need them.Unsnap the lead and they go coon hunting. The only fault I have with them the male was a little slow to start female no problem. and the male was a little mouthy in the kennel. If your a hide hunter better keep them on a lead, let them get hold of a coon and there's nothing left.
