Ok , let's look at this fair and square .... pick the best stud of today and in the next year ... breed only one or maybe two gyps to that stud and then see how many " big winners" there are ..... you'd be crazy to put that kind of expectations on a litter.

The semen studs were just nice dogs then and all you can get is nice pups from em' now ... but with the odds against you because you aint breeding a couple dozen gyps to them in a year ... you get one shot at it .

Is it me or are all the dogs big boned? Got a grand pup to Cade he's not a real big dog 57lbs. But he got big feet and bones. Just wondering if this is a lipper trait

Nothing wrong with frozen semen.
Semen is semen . only thing i see is it may not be as good as when it is drawn. we use some that was only about 40% and had 5 pups

but had one of the best vets that knows what he is doing.

Will use some again on down the road.
just like this ....no one is making anyone use it

Everyone has there own thing.

we will be breeding to some of the oldest blood out there one day. soon i hope.

Something to think about when using frozen semen.....most people say natural is best, they want the "strongest swimmers". The fact is only the strongest and normal survive the freeze process. History has shown in racing greyhounds that they are now faster and stronger than their predecessors. Almost 100% of racing greyhound worldwide are bred from frozen semen. I know I keep bringing up racing greyhounds but the coonhound world and the greyhound world is very very similar and many ideal can be crossed over. The only minus to frozen semen is you must use progesterone testing to time your female to determine when she needs to be bred. Other than that I don't see any other down fall to it. It makes a stud available to anyone....anywhere.

Thanks that pic was made after 30 strat nites, 3 States Ohio, VA, NC an 3 rounds at the UKC World, He was one of the best an I will be using some semen in the near future.
