Well. The last time that I did email update on Shirley’s Status was 10-19-2012 ..Well, lots has occurred since then and we wanted you all to know that your prayers have heard.. God tells us to share his blessings and news..

First ,Shirley has gone thru her Radiation and Chemotherapy which were at the same time. To tell the truth , it was extremely difficult on her and if they had not cut back on the treatments and had not given her strong pain meds ..She would not survive it and would have had hospitalization or worse ..However, praise the Lord..She did ..

However, during the middle of the treatments ,her precious Mother , Lovingly known as “ GRANNIE “ went home to be the LORD on November 7th..We all were with her when she passed over… So, Shirley had to deal with her Mother passing. That was an unexpected event.. Then after treatments were concluded and during the Holidays …She was extremely depressed and another sets of problems to deal with.. After much prayer and more visits with the Local Doctors and the MD Anderson Medical Team.. She was able break thru and now has very strong and positive attitude and spirit going into the Major Storm of the Surgery which will next Wednesday , Jan.23rd ….The evaluations and tests she took this past week at MD Anderson all gave a green light for the Surgery.. So, we have been in the comfort of the “Eye of the Storm”..so to speak … The Main Success of her Cure will depend on the Surgery… It will be 10-12 hr Surgery performed by 2 Different Medical Teams…It will start around 8:30 am and will be completes around 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm if all goes well… Then She will be in Hospital for 7 to 10 days…Then we are remain in the Houston area for 2 to 3 weeks…for follow up and emergencies..We are not allowed to go home..until they feel she is well enough..Then she will be confined to home with HOME Health Care assisting us.. Then after that she must be placed on more Chemotherapy for 6 more months… She will be checked every 3 months for 2 yrs…then every 6 months for 3 more years… before she will declared cured and cancer free…

We sincerely want to thank you all for the contacts and prayers you made on her behalf ..You really do not know how wealthy and blessed you are… until you see how many friends the LORD has provided you with..

As I close ….I have 2 requests of you :

1. Pray for Shirley and the Medical Teams for a Successful Surgery

2. And this is of most importance …If you do not know the “LORD Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior” ..Please do it today …(Because as the Bumper Sticker says… “ GOT CHRIST … and IT IS HELL WITHOUT HIM (and hell is not an IRS Audit) And if….Big If…. you think you have Jesus in your heart ….Check it out ????..Be sure of it..FALSE Assurance is at an epidemic high ..Saying it ….but no walking ..no fruit showing it… Start loving God with all your Heart/Soul/Mind and ….you will naturally start loving your spouse and/or your family the way the LORD wants you to.... You will never regret it…and Blessings will come your way….
