Garmin 320 at Cabelas ?
So I see Cabelas has the Astro 320 and DC 40 on sale for $500, with a backorder of 1 week.
Would you all buy one from Cabelas or would you go with an actual hound supply store for a little more money ? I'm really needing one but dont want to buy one and then get screwed on warranty service. Any suggestions?
We have a cabela's store 10 miles south of us. Have had no problems with service as everything goes to garmin. Have bought shockers and trackers from cabelas, Get there cabelas card to earn cabela bucks for even more savings.. JMHO
Support your local supply store.. We're not some big chain store and can't compete with their prices but most of us give ya excellent customer service after the sale.... We can't make it with out fellow hunters supporting us !

Order it from a hound supply store and pay a few extra bucks. If you look around you will find one of them that can match that price or get very close to it.

Careful
There was and is a wholesale house with almost the same offer on the 220 dc 30 a while back BUT with NOTHING except the unit period.
Better stay with one of the hunting suppliers thay will do more for you in the long run as answering questions and helping in other ways. J M O

Got my 320 DC 40 combo from Cabelas last year and with my points off my Cabelas credit card, a coupon around christmas time for money off any purchase and a few gift cards from family for christmas only spent $150 out of pocket for it. Would prob use a local hound supply if I could do all that through them. Havent had any probs so dont know about customer service.

If all you have is 500 buy it from them if you have more then buy it from a hound supply store that actually donates back to this sport the warranty will be the same either way. I buy all my stuff from two different places Jerry Hawkins from Bloomfield IA and Valley Creek both have great customer service and both do their share of donating to the hunts.
I would support the ones who support our sport even if it costs a little more because most of them are hunters like yourself
Bruce Conkey will try to match prices
Stick with the Little Man and he'll stick with you till the day he dies
thanks for all the advice, I'm going to go with a local hound supply store. I think it will pay off in the end.
