Winter Classic

I booked my room in Batesville, Mississippi today. The lady told me that several rooms had already been been booked. Better get your room booked soon.

P.S. 2 queen size beds, non-smoking for $55.25 per night for four people. Pet friendly.

I made a small error when I said where I had booked a room. It is the Super 8 in Sardis, MS. The Quality Inn in Batesville quoted me $117.00 a night and another motel in Batesville, MS. was $70.00 per night. I chose the Super 8 because the lady said they were pet friendly. Sorry about the mistake in naming the towns.

Well Sardis is still pretty dang close... 10 minutes or less from civic center.

Super 8 in Sardis, ms. I got 2 rooms with one adult in each (if you knew my hunting buddy you will not ask why 2 rooms) anyway $46 each a nite.

i dont recomend anybody staying at the skyline motel in bville or the best western in sardis

I also booked at the Super 8 in Sardis, Ms. It is a pet friendly hotel and I booked my room for $44.00 a night. You get a discount if you book 3 nights.

Pet Friendly

For everyone that has been concerned about finding a pet friendly hotel close to the Winter Classic, all of the hotels I looked at are pet friendly.

If you book 3 or more nights, you can get a discount. I also booked my room using Wyndham Resorts. My 3 night total after taxes and everything came to $171.00. So after taxes it comes to $57.00 per night.

No, I was there in 2010. I liked Albany but I am glad to see it moving closer to Texas. It will save me about 500 miles of driving.
