4.1.2. A member of the Armed Forces on active duty shall not:

4.1.2.5. Speak before a partisan political gathering, including any gathering that promotes a partisan political party, candidate, or cause.

4.1.2.6. Participate in any radio, television, or other program or group discussion as an advocate for or against a partisan political party, candidate, or cause.

haha!! funny how that happened. him and millons of other americans feel the same way. but lets not talk about that. we have to many debt to pay back. we just keep using are men and women to pay for the goverments bad deals.

CNN - Communist News Network. If you want the view from the liberal far left......watch it. I wouldn't be surprised to find out down the road that CNN is funneling money into the occupy camps....in my opinion.

i can stand walking into a business and they have that crap on the tv. it honestly makes me want to never go back.

they dont want the amercain people to hear what a military person that may end up giving his or her life for country to give thier god given opion i think our gov that we have now is trying to run this country more like a dictator gov passing laws that state what bussiness have to do on this ins thing that the came up with same with the state gov telling bussiness they cant let people smoke in thier bussiness 1 of our hospital alow smoking on thier property you have to go way off thier property to smoke even thier employes have to go there not even allowed to smoke in your car on the grounds they are taking our rights from us alittle at a time we need change for the gov and local gov to quit interfearing with our personal life and take care of our vetarns jmo

I am no fan of the right leaning corporate owned CNN anyway, but it appears that he had said most of what he had to say before they had a technical issue. The 'technical' issue may have been that a producer noted what Blackriver pointed out- he had maybe said more than he should have anyway.

I have mixed emotions Joe. As you know I am a vet so I knew and understood my limits while still a member of the armed forces. Just like any job, there are rules to be followed. However I feel that as a armed forces member who has served his time he has a right to speak his mind. Tough call!!
On a a side note when my son returned from Iraq he did an interview for a reporter who tried her best to goat him into a political battle. He was smart enough to keep his cool and not get drawn in.

I am for bringing them all home and stop invadeing countries so our corporations can make safe investments over there. I was for Afganistan but I think they should had came home once they got Bin Laden.
Setting over there expect our soldiers to do P.R. and draw fire missions when our government doesn't have the back bone to stop giveing millions of dollars to Packistan while they harber the terrorest that are killing our troups is crazy. Not to mention not haveing the back bone to send our fly boys over and let them flatten there training camps.
My son had one of the boys in his unit killed by a RPG the other day. There commander for there whole brigade was there. They ask him to take the boys dog tags back with him so nothing would happen to them dureing the rest of there mission. He told them " I don't want those things".
So far my Son has been put in for attleast 2 purple hearts and a bronze star. He is risking his life for the guys he is with. Not for what the war has became.

Thanks Hillbilly56, they have a thankless they are trying to do with a body count POLICE ACTION just like Nam. Trying to kill the ones that are killing us with there hands tied behind there back.
I finaly learned the differance between a war and a police action. War you take the ground as you go. A police action is just a body count fight. Who ever kills the most wins. If we would go across the Packistan border we could add them up fast. We could atleast quit sending them money BUT we have corporations money invested over there.
