Cajun belt lights- good vs bad

I am thinkin about gettin myself a new light before the comp season starts andi am pretty sure i am gunna get a cajun. I have had my stinger+ box light for about 7 years and it was used when i baught it and i haven't had a single problem with until now the switch is startin to go bad. I don't want to hear about what brand of light you think is best because you sell them or your buddy makes them Blah Blah....... I only want to hear from people who own cajuns that can tell me the good and bad. thanks

Ben, I know Bob has had one for years, he likes them. I think he has the box light. I don't have a Cajun, but I do have a belt light, I prefer the belt over the box. The belt seems to not bang around as much.

great lights

Cajun i think are the best. my uncle and grandpa use cajuns. my grandpa fell out of a cedar huntin one night and the only thing that broke on his light was he bent the metal piece on the head light cord that goes into the battery. there TOUGH!

I have had a stinger for 6-7 years.

Somtimes when its on high for an extended period of time it will shut off and only work on low for a while.

Mine has a "click" switch which I dont like as much as the rheostat (SP).

I think most lights are pretty much the same, service is probably the biggest differing factor.

I've got a Cajun 21v Econo Box light and had it for almost 5 years. I used a regular 5100 head on it for a couple years and have since used a Blazer Pro LED Head. I've not had to do one thing to the light other than charge it up since I have had it. There good lights.

Have had very good service out of a 16volt 8 amp ( can't remember the name). They had to change the polarity in the light for the blazer led head to work correctly. This was done free of charge and also very quickly.

I have owned a cajun Mini Mag lite for 8 years I wrore it so much hunting that I wrore the wholes that hold the outside of the cover off. Then the battery went out never once had a problem with it. I mean after 8 years that lite didn't owe me a thing. I tried another lite and hated it and with money being tight I bought a used cajun again and will never own anything else again. The thing to remember always buy the 8 amp lites they seem to hold up longer.

I've had a 28 volt Cajun belt light for over 5 years. I'm not really sure if they still make this light but, the only thing I don't like is the weight. It's really heavy, other than that I love it!
