I just moved to Utah from Illinois. Just curious if there are any hunters from the Ogden area.

of Lance(Not sure of last name.Just recently started chattin' with him on message boards).You'll find him on the English classifieds under H.E.K.K. as his thread starter.Seems like a heckuva nice guy too.I only wish I had met him when I lived in Salt Lake City.He hunts coon and lion.

Be careful not to join the dark side! You can get in with some pretty dishonorable houndsmen up in Northern Utah. If you would like I can P.M you some contact information on clubs and give you some pretty honest houndsmen to look for who are great to hunt with.

Thats a nice area up there. My wifes family lives in North Ogden. I have wondered myself if they do any coon hunting up there. I would like to know what you find out. Good luck up there! What took you all the way across the good ol USA?

Moved out here to be with my girl friend and her family. Havent ran into any coon hunters yet. Prolly isnt very many of them.

Probably nowhere near as many coonhunters in UT as there are in IL, but there are definitely houndsmen out there.
I think the Morgan club wrapped up their last UKC event of the year last month. I don't know about the schedules of the clubs down by SLC.
Go to www.biggamehoundsmen.com click on the Big Game Forum button on the left and join that board if you haven't yet. Discussion isn't limited only to big game hunting, and there's even a section there specifically for Utah.
