Pigeon River World Qualifying Hunt

I would like to thank everyone who participated at the world qualilfier at Pigeon River.
The results of the hunt are as follows: First place--Branko Chubby Checkers-Roy Swafford, Jr. Second place--Halfway Frenchman's Cracker-John and Joe Brown. Third place--McBride's Luck Trails-Rob Maynard. Fourth place--Halfway Frenchman's Barbie-Dan Barton. Fifth Place--Collin' Fast Track Turbo-Mike Collins. Sixth Place--Hurry up Blue Flame-Vicky Bassitt and Kelly Hanner. Congratulations to all the World Qualified Winners under pretty tough conditions!
Six out of nine casts came back with plus points.
De and I would like to thank everybody who supported our great niece in the bench show, especially the judge, Rob Maynard and his wife, Mike Collins, Bill Fosburgh, and Kevin Watkins, who by the way, won the Best of Show and made White River Coal Miner a Grand on the bench.
Thanks again everybody, and hope everything is going to turn out allright with little Patrick Watkins.

Norm that was priceless giving your niece that trophie. We had a good time.

Thanks Norm and Dee, Everything is OK we took him to the hospital and is levels had gotten better and nothing to worry about,have to take him back in tomarro to check them again.


I to would like to thank everyone that came,and thank everyone that helped out and guided.....Thank you Jeremy Mapes for coming and helping and guiding thats hard to do when your not running a dog.

every cast had at least 6 strikes on the score card tracking was horriable.

No problem Kevin. Although you should probably thank the wife for letting me leave the house this morning (it was our anniversary). It was good seeing all of you again. It's always good to be in a cast with you Doug. Hope to see you all in Homer next weekend.

I had a good time , as i think everyone did. I got to hunt with some of my favorite people again. everything turned out great! You know it was a huge success when you see a little girl with a huge SMILE after the bench show. it made my day when Roy gave her his Qualifying plaque & told her what a great job she did.
