I think the smart swith refers to the fact that it will not burn at full bright untill it has heated up. I think what you are talking about is a flicker swith.

They are the best light on the market. Mr. Kelly puts the smart switch in for not blowing the bulb. I have blown maybe 2 bulb in two years. Old Mr. Raccoon will look at that flicker too. I think if you buy one get the 28 or 21 and you will not be disappointed. If there is any problem Mr. Kelly will make it right if you contact him.

I love both of mine! Both are 21 volt belt lights an not trouble with either one! But if you have any question or problems they will take really good care of you!

K- light

The K-Light is the way to go. i have the small 4volt light its about as big as a wallet. burns 50hr on low side 20hr on high side. spots a coon like its nothing. it the best investment i think i have ever made. its only a 4volt but its way better than my 16volt bandit light. i really would like to see either the 21 or 28volt light. just to see how good they are.

But the 21 volt with the smart switch will have the flicker button as well?

Yes I think that the smart switch also come with a flicker. If I was you I would call Mr. Kelly and be sure that it has one. You will be pleased with his lights.
