Anyone been hunting in eastern KY lately?
Seen any snakes? We've been seeing a lot in our area.
i
hunt 6-7 nights a week and have not killed to maney this year,,but my freands have been doing good getting rattlers to eat this year
We are just getting into coon hunting and it scares me. We've killed several copperheads. Worries me about my 8 year old son and his pup being out in the hills right now.
I have killed about twelve or fifteen copperheads. I have also had two dogs get snakebit by poisonous snakes. Seen alot more dead on the roads. Worst I have seen snakes in years. I live and hunt in Breathitt Co. What part of eastern Ky are you from.

Virgil~~ We are in Johnson County. And they are heavy.. Brett is actually my son. My husband doesn't worry about things like this as much as I do.. LOL
EastKy~~~ I havent' seen snake chaps small enough to fit my son. Know where they got your nephews? He has a good pair of rubber boots already though.
If we had an old dog that was used to snakes, etc. I wouldn't be as worried, but with our young pup, makes me wonder..
Snake chaps on a 6 year old is a good idea, but most snakes are going to hit higher than the knee on a 6 year old child.
