Water and Drag Races

I was just wondering how many people were interested in these kind of events.. and if anyone goes to them now.. do they like it.

WHEELER, AR puts a field trial on several times a year. brings a pretty good crowd. There is a lot of events that you can have such as treeing contest, barks and ability, drag race, water race, coon in a hole, coon in a barrel, swim race, etc. A lot of fun. It can help a club with participation. good luck !!!

Michigan Clubs

Some clubs around Mich draw just as many dogs for the swim race and field trial than they do the night hunt or bench show.

BUILD IT --- THEY WILL COME

my redbone loves to swim, just hard to win.

My club is holding the NC state Water Race Championship & bench show this Saturday. I know you're too far away to come, but if anyone's closer, come on down.

we usually have them during the summer months.

The only place I know of around here that does them is Cole Camp Missouri, it would be neat to have another club to do them!!

It would be neat if Texas could have a State Water Race CH. My Walker loves to swim and she is fast. She won the only water race she was entered in, wish I'd got pictures. It sure was fun. Jessica

in ny there are a lot of water races and field trials. sinclairville has them, unadilla, van etten, salem, jeffersonville, and west valley has the field trials. i might have missed a couple of them. i like to do the filed trials and the water races. i have a couple of hounds that really love to swim. swim races are the more fun to watch tho.

East Carolina Coon Hunters Assoc. holds 5 UKC Water races each year as well as open water races and the participation has fallen to the point that we may stop. It used to be very big in this area.

Our next UKC race is 26 August 2007, Sunday afternoon starting with a Bench show at 2:00
