No, I apologize if I mess up the name but John Monroe? from Missouri owns the dog.

good luck

I asked the same question a while back. And like you got nothing. Either no one has hunted with him or no body cares. It would be interesting to know my uncle wants to breed to him if the dog is still alive. You would think if he was throwing any kind of decent pups you would have heard of them by now. The Walkers could use some old Finley River blood in them again. A lot of them are pretty weak track dogs when the conditions get tough.

I know a couple guys who have been interested in breeding to Jack also. It seems like no one has ever hunted with him. It seems like there should be a demand for some of this older Finley River blood. It seems like a good share of the Finley Riv blood that is around is found in a lot of the show dogs.
You'd think someone would at least be hunting a pup out of him that could give us some feedback.

Is Monroe even still studding him? Haven't noticed any of his ads lately except for selling a bunch of dogs. Maybe he's quitting again.

FINLEY RIVER JACK

HE MUST BE GETTING UP THERE IN AGE MY BROTHER AND I OWN A DOG OFF HIM AND THIS HJOUND HAS SOME AGE ON HIM. NEVER HUNTED WITH ONE THAT COULD TREE A COON SO EASY, BAD TRACKS, HOT TRACKS, LAY UPS, STRIKE FROM DOG BOX WHILE RIDING. HIS MOUTH IS A LITTLE WEEK AND NOT AN IMPRESSIVE TREE DOG. WE BRED HIM TO A LIPPER FEMALE AND PRODUCED SEVERAL GOOD ONES FROM THIS CROSS. WE KEPT A MALE THAT WILL GO HUNTING QUICK, IS LOUD , QUICK HARD TREE DOG WITH STYLE...............

Never hunted with him but know a couple guys who have and they said he was a straight up coon dog and they hunted with him in nasty weather conditions they seemed to like him that is all I know about him. The one guy was going to breed to him if his old female ever came in. That's all I ever heard!
