Made the trip lastnight about fifteen after twelve she was redy to go I'm gonna wait till this twelve inches of snow goes to melting and then we gonna get in toon fort the spring hunts I'm shut you will be hearing about velvet one lol I have hy hopes in her going big in the hunts and helping my young dogs out thanks john for the fine looking hound may God bless you and yours have good day

Rough

Finally got the pups out last night after a rough Christmas(lots of traveling). They hunted hard but came up empty. They keep showing more and more drive every time out and I know eventually they're gonna find a track they can work and finish. Its so nice seeing them improve every night. Just ready for that first coon they get on their own.

Weather

Weather has progress held up. Did get Diamond in on a couple Saturday night but then the rain and snow came in and the night got rough. Diamond ended up getting caught in a snare trap, luckily she had it too far back on her neck and she never got choked. I love the drive these pups have, they don't hesitate to get out by themselves or with company, they will fight a coon just gotta get them putting mouth to the track and tree. It's coming and I think they'll make good ones.

I'll have to do that, hopefully the coon start movin better here so I can get a few more out to these pups.

Went out Saturday night, found a track but the pups were struggling lining it out. Walked back to the truck to load em up and Daisy opened and ran something in a couple circles and then came back. Not sure what she had goin but she was sure screamin on it. Ready for this weather to break so I can hopefully get em on a track they can work.

I'm bout to move somewhere with some freakin coon!! Went out last night and couldn't find a track to save my life, anybody wanna sell me some coon?? lol

Last night

Participated in a memorial hunt last night for a young man in the area who passed away, had several tracks but they were only able to work out one and had the coon on the outside. Did a lil extra work with the pups after we shot it out, here's a video of Daisy tryin to get it.

Took Taz out today for a little training session, did a great job on the track and slammed the tree hard. Was starting to think he was gonna be a cull but he's showing some promise.

Took Taz and Nite out for a lil hunt last night, caught a coon out in the open, we saw it before the dogs knew it was there. Watched it go up a tree and the boys weren't long findin it. Nite stood on the tree but he still only gives out one big locate then goes silent, hope he starts letting loose with that big mouth soon. Overall good night and proud of the boys.
