Help with Skunk smell???
Anyone know of a good remedy to Remove Skunk smell from dog box, dog collars and DOG....thanks
Tried tomato juice it doesn't work...thanks again...
Lemon juice
skunk
Get a gallon of Odoban at Walmart. It will completely eliminate skunk smell. Does not cover it up, it eliminates it.
Always have a gallon on hand if training pups. Mix it with water and spray it on your equipment and clothes.
It is intended for use on laundry.
thanks
Thanks for the help, now if I can just find some ODOBAN, Every store within a 100 miles of me is OUT OF STOCK, must be some good stuff the way they are ALL sold out, thanks again... .
Vodka
I wipe my collar & leash with vodka. Wear rubber gloves. Sometimes it just makes the smell bearable. I have used it on my chaps also. I eliminated the problem. I gave her away.
Good Luck

Get youself some vinegar cheap and effective. Theres alway a new 1 gallon jug of it at the house in case its needed.
Natures Miracle . They sell it at Orschliens. Put it in a spray bottle and spray away. I have had good results with it. I had a dog that skunks were his favorite, unfortunately he is no longer with us.

For the dog, mixture of peroxide, baking soda and Dawn dishsoap, use enough peroxide to make it soupy, apply and leave on 10 to 15 minutes then rinse. Smoke helps the dog box but the collars are tough. I've put them in a bucket of powder laundry soap for a few days, that helps, usually still leave them hang for a while
odoban
Just ordered a gallon from Amazon. Delivery date of 4-23-20. Sounded like something I needed on the shelf. Thanks to all for the information.
