Confusion on new hunt format concerning doubleheaders

The 1-hour doubleheader slam hunts. Does everything hunt together or are the champions Hunted separate from the open registered ?

Registered hunt in one category and Nitech/Grnitech in Champions catagory.
It is exactly like any other hunt except up to 4 plus point cast winners get $. If there are no plus point cast winners each entrant will get 55% of their entry back on a $20 & $30 hunt, 75% on a $50. Your club should get a worksheet that explains payout and a payout breakdown sheet. If they didn't get one email field operations and they can send it to you.

.. I've been told both.. as far as a worksheet never seen anything like that but that doesn't mean it wasn't there... I do know that the two-hour regular hunt they hunt separate... But the 1-hour slams I thought everything was thrown together.. maybe Allen or somebody will way in or somebody can post the actual documented rule on this..

Redneck Mafia is correct - that is how the one hour slam's are supposed to be handled. Quite a few have been run differently so I've heard.

I is my understanding that all slams are supposed to be ran this way now not just 1 hour hunts. The reason being that the top 3 plus point cast winners are awarded performance points if eligible.
There is a worksheet and payout sheet I have one from the 2 slams our club has had this year. They may need to type up a separate sheet to send to all clubs with details on how to run one as many are unfamiliar or didn't read the format changes or realize that they also applied to slams.

Correct, all slams.. side tracking the original topic, but i sure like the double header, slam format.. By the time I drive a couple hours to a hunt, spend the time and money I get two shots at a win and maybe a little gas money home..

So two dogs show up , one open and one a champion.. You have to have two casts, two judges.. two guides. Potentially would need six people to hunt two dogs. if only two people show up and they are the handlers of the dogs you have to go home. No hunt can be held by the rules...hmmm.. back to the drawing board I think..

Nothing any different than before except Nitech and grand hunt together. Before you had the potential to have to have a separate guide/judge for 3 cast instead of just the 2 now.

Regular slams reg and ch are split. Qualifying slams everyone hunts together. This is because qualifying slams are considered the same as an RQE.

Wrong. Only in hunts that are qualifiers for World hunt.
