I got beat on this one in the very first UKC hunt I ever entered. I think I was 12, the judge was in his 40's and knew dang well what he was doing. I didn't but I took a card home with me and it didn't happen again.

What if you tree your dog and the guide says that your dog is on posted land so the cast votes to call time out and they tell you to go get your dog?

What if you tree your dog and he is across a deep river?

Better plan on getting wet! If they refuse then they should be scratched.

Or if the judge calls interference because of a road?

You can call interference but the dog treed prior still gets scored.

Was your third grade teacher a coon hunter?

No, but she was a good egg. My fifth grade teacher was a coon hunter and he had a habit of taking naps during study time

( if ) you called time out after the dog was treed you would have to time back in to score him.

If you're with the 89% who say this is true, then you are correct. Any dog that is/was declared treed prior to time out being called, or time expiring in the hunt, is eligible to be scored.
