Dans 5 star chaps?

I was about to order dans chaps with mucks. We there was nothing on there about the length or the size around your thighs. I'm a decent size guy 6'3" 240#s. And was wandering if they would even fit me right? Are they made long or loose? Or do they fit tight on a smaller person?

I have 5 star chaps on size 13 grub boots. I was told the standard chap size was based on boot size. You can have them made custom for you but I just ordered the standard size. I'm 6'1" , 235 lbs , and wear a 34/32 jeans. The standard size fits almost perfect but could be a little smaller around the thigh. I think because they are a little loose around the thigh more debris gets inside the chap. Length is perfect for me though.

.

On my website we ask for all your measurements to make sure they fit right.

The should be two inches larger than your thigh and two inches shorter that your inseam.
Like DFred said Dan;s chaps are based on boot size.

size 12 and up are husky which are 29 in thigh chaps

Best thing for you is to measure your thigh and use the inseam of the pants you buy to get a pair. If you need them custom made I would not wait any longer as the cutoff date to get a pair by Christmas if they have to be made is two days away.

I have the measuring instructions on my website if you want to check it out. www.conkeysoutdoors.com look under dans boots and chaps.

Bekina's which I recommend for spring , summer and fall hunting but they are cold in winter even with the Bama socks the Bekina's being sold are not insulated and at anything under 20 degrees your feet will freeze . They are my favorite warm weather boot . Took 9 mo to get a hole in them a new record lol but being made in one piece from polyurethane the soles are good and won't pull apart from the boot and really lightweight . I'm getting ready to order something for different for winter and then will probably get another pair if Bekina's come spring I will get with a different chap .

Thank you I have been looking at that brand my self .. Love the info on the soles you gave me .I gave my frend a pair of the lacrosse burleys after I wore um 24 times I have wide feet and didn't like um he only has one hole in the chaps but soles are already pulling off the boots and leaking and there on the cheapest chaps I could find at time .. ....
