Not exactly a dominating performance last night for the Blueticks at the zones. There were some winners and congrats to them. Good luck tonight and keep it rolling.

Woke up and checked on it first thing. I think I counted 15 bluetick cast winners. Hoping this is the year a blue dog wins it ! Congrats to all who won their cast. And a big round of applause to all that went to the zone and gave it all you had. You can't win them sitting at home. GO BIG. BLUE !!!

Kyle, thanks for putting this in a better light. I did not mean to be critical in my post. I was just hoping for a smackdown performance. Truth in what you say. It takes commitment to get a dog to this point and Lots of prep to get here.

I live smack dab in Walker and English country and I cant tell you how much I hear them compare a bad dog of their breed to a Bluetick or throw off on Blueticks. I have not entered a UKC hunt in almost 2 years due to work and being so tight with money. I pleasure hunt everyweekend and come Friday when I get out of the mines my mind is set to hunting the hills. I have a great amount of respect for those out their pushing their hounds and making a name for themselves. Way to go everyone who is representing the Bluetick breed ! Make us proud !

I am a Bluetick guy but I can appreciate a coon dog no matter the color.

What burns my bottom are those jerks that every other sentence they are telling you how you need to get rid of the blue and get what ever they are hunting... or just happen to have a litter you could buy from.

I mean I do not like a chop mouth dog... I just don't have any use for one. I won't spend all night whining about your chop mouth yard dog out loud.

Getting ready to head out with Meadowoods Blue Penny. She didn't look bad lastnight. She went deep treed one after hunt was over was about .8 from the truck in some deep hills. Blaster looked good and seemed to be a nice hound.Good Luck to everyone. I m thinking 30 blues hunted lastnight and 18 cast winners. That's a really a great percentage.
It was great seeing all the Bluetick Guys here at zone 2. Were all pulling for each other to make it to Flora next weekend. Happy Hunting !!!

Ok, it's been about 20 years since I hunted a dog in the world hunt format. Not to proud to admit my ignorance. When I posted above I thought you had to win last night to move on.
