Performance Checks Mailed 3/27/15

Performance checks have been mailed. If your name is on the list below you need to contact the Accounting Department at UKC as they are waiting on your social security number before they can mail your check.

Hey Todd, just a couple of quick questions. My dog's paper say something like "Litter Nominated Only For Performance Program". Don't have the papers here at work with me. Does that mean my pup is not paid up individually, but was eligible to be paid up? And, if I read correctly, he can't be paid up after 12 months? He was purchased after 12 months of age and I would pay him up if he's not and I was allowed to.
One other dead horse. Why do fees go up after a certain age? Is it that much more work for UKC as the dog gets older? Not mad, but curious.

Maybe I can pay $5 extra and we can call it "conditional". Lol. I think UKC should look at some of their charging policies. LOTS of buyers tends to get punished by the rate increases, not the previous owner who failed to pay up registrations, performance, etc. Just my opinion. Thank you for your response Todd.

That's like all these folks trying to sell 2 or 3 yr old dogs with puppy papers! Send them in on time!! And if there over a yr old and not paid up or even reg don't buy it!!

I own the performance sire of pups that have been winning in the ukc nite hunts. the owners of the pups have received their performance checks. but I have not.

to receive the sires 10% cut does the sire have to be performance just the year the pups were born ?
or
does the sire have to be a performance sire the same year & each year the pup wins in the hunts ?.

toecutter, the owner of the sire "at the time of breeding" is the owner that receives 10% of the sires offspring's earnings. And that would be for the life of any of those litters. Does this answer any questions as to why you may not have received credit for some of those offspring?

The sire just needed to be a PRP sire in the year that the pups were born and not necessarily during the year when those offspring earned points.

thank you, I was (and still am) the owner of the PRP sire at the time of breeding..
I will call UKC with the sires number and with as many of the winning pups registration numbers I can get.
