Distance apart of Clubs?

Is it still 100 miles? Now is that straight line or roads? What kind of leeway does ukc allow?

I think what he was asking is can you hold a hunt on the same night? I know we moved our club and had to change a date due to a conflict with another club that was 80 miles away.

You can have them 10 miles apart, but they've got to be 100 miles apart to have a hunt the same night.

distance

There is a rule on distance but it doesn't always happen. When i was in a club in sc we had another club complain to ukc. We were about 20 miles apart. We lost that date and they lost a different day. Some states just have a pile of hunts and UKC doesn't catch it all the time.

They m usta done away with that rule. Like above. Those 2 clubs only 40 apart. Tomorrow night we have one. Another club 70 miles away has one. Thats by rd and not even as the crow flies. Last Aug or Dec one. A club 20 miles from us had one on same night. They worked that out with us because we had the hunt first. Same as tomorrow. Im pretty sure we had this hunt first. I didn't even notice but we had a club meeting last night and it was brought up.

There's a town in Louisiana that has two clubs. They hold their hunts at the same place and both have the same contact number in their adds. They have lots of hunts in that town!

Eastern NC does not have many clubs. Our club is one of the oldest in the state but in the last several years UKC has given other clubs the same dates that we have had for years. These are clubs that would share MANY of the same hunters, myself included. One is a RQE and another is a Youth hunt among others. We have had to change OUR dates to try to help out both ourselves and the other clubs.

If memory serves I think you have to have 50 miles between clubs holding events on the same night within the same state.
