aint trying to be smart or nothing, but you might ought to think about getting a dog that has treeing coons on his mind instead of other things. good luck.

This is a pup thing, purty common really. I have had two that did it. Both got permanently broke in one lesson by an older dog that absolutely turned that pup inside out for humping. The other way is to grab them up and thrash them everything you catch doing it. The second way takes much longer than the first way.

He'll grow out of it in time if you dont want to break him yourself. He does it to the wrong female shell break him.He did that to Dixie last winter when they hunted together.

Mine too, a fellow gave my buddy a very nice young dog once because of this problem. Only one night with the Tri Tronics worked wonders and he went on to be a super pup.

like ANYTHING, its a matter of training them not to. plain and simple. most hunters never come close to realizing how much manners a dog can be taught if they took the time.

then again, most think 2hrs a week or month accualy getting the dog out of the pen is realy working the snot out of them
