How many states have k-9 units in there institutions?

Very Few still have K-9 units .. The Co. State Dept. of Corrections still run a Few ... Most use the Local Police or Sheriffs Dept.s for K-9 Tracking Support.

here in arkansas law in forcement depend on us for most tracking dogs Arkansas Dept Of Corrections.

Cell Phones

Inmates have been able to get cell phones in jail which then allows them to arrange drug deals and even worse arrange for the injuring of staff. Or the families of the people who put them in jail. just think about it.

To long in law enforcement I guess

Thought everyone would know that cell phones would cause trouble inside jails.

NC DOC has k9 units. drug and cell phone. and an escape track dog or 2. I use to be on the team. 7 years on the state. I gave it up because of North Carolina not giving anything extra for doing it. Now i just sit and watch inmates sleep. I love it
