Snakes Are Out Now!
Almost stepped on a big black snake that was almost 4 feet long when I went out to feed the dogs this morning. I like to see those "good" black ones because they eat the "bad stuff" that appears as soon as the weather warms up around here.

Had a vet tell me once that snakes are out as soon as frogs start croacking and I believe it. I had a dog bit the 2nd week of March a few years ago.

Two questions sum up life....
Why am I here ? And Where am I headed.
I haven't seen any snakes yet but i saw a butt load of alligators while on a hunt last night.
Our snakes and gators have been out since late February. I really dont like either. Havent seen many but I see a lot of tracks crossing dirt roads.

A WELCOME SOUND
HEARD A WHIPPERWILL THIS AM AT A REST STOP IN TENNESSE. PRETTY WELCOME SOUND TO THIS OLE NORTHERN BOY. 40'S AND 50'S WHEN WE LEFT.60'S DOWN THROUGH IL YESTERDAY 72 BY THE TIME WE HIT PADUCAH KENTUCKY LAST EVENING. SITTING HERE IN MARRIETTA/ATLANTA GEORGIA AND IT WAS 82 AT SUNSET.
THE SOUTH IS SURE AN AWSOME SIGHT THIS TIME OF YEAR WITH ALL THE TREES IN BLOOM AND FLOWERS EVERYWHERE. LIKE MOST OF YOU,I DISLIKE THE REPTILES AND ONLY HAVE THE TIMBER RATTLERS AT HOME, AND THEY AREN'T MUCH OF A FACTOR WHEN WE ARE HUNTIN.<v>
