UKC ? Entry Card Question.

Since there is no place for a signature on the new easy entry card I got this week. I guessing that they are no longer required? Officials will no longer need to check for signatures either right?

No you don't need the card but if you do not show the card or the papers on the dog you will be charged an extra 5 bucks to enter without them.

First I've heard about the signature. Always thought it was a pain anyway.

Jim --the Card I got has no place for a signature on back.

I'll post a pic shortly. It wasn't the card I was inquiring about it was the signature on back.

I got cards for 2 new show champions 2 weeks ago. They both had signature lines. The new one came Thursday. I pulled it off to sign it and no signature line. It also has a dog treeing right next to the U of UKC on the front side.

Robert, the fact that you can now enter an event without the card or papers for $5.00 fee, it would be safe to say, that the signature on the new card is not needed since UKC did not include the signature line on the new cards.

It would be nice for UKC to let us know of ALL policy changes before the fact.I knew about the conditional entries. The UKC packet my club recieved for our event next Saturday has the old entry procedure and papers required paper in it and there is no form or place to report the conditional entries in each event. Yes this is a good change. I just believe everything wasn't ready for a January 1st start date guess we'll make do and hope it all works out.

Signatures are no longer required. That was recently taken off the back of the cards.
