Monadnock Sportsmen Association Members...
As you all know our first event of 2010 will be on May 14th & 15th. As decided by all members at our last meeting we will be providing a "pot-luck" style dinner on Saturday. Anyone willing to contribute please let me know as soon as possible, thanks. WD
So far we have:
All shopping to prepare for both nights will be done by Phil & Fawn Byers. (I have already provided them a list of "supplies", snack, utensils, ect...). I think we have it all covered. I will bring everything to the club on friday afternoon.
May 14th - we will have hotdogs & hamburgers available. Along with snacks, assorted chips, doughnuts, soda and plenty of coffee.
May 15th - Hotdogs & Hamburgers, drinks, snacks, ect...
Supper:
Pot Roast with carrots, potato's, onions - Mark York & Mary-Jane Harvey
Bear Chili - Wayne Dimond
Salad - Barbara Orcutt
Come out and join us, it should be a great event! We will also be holding a Non-sanctioned, 50/50 Club Fundraiser - Treeing Contest on Saturday @ 5:30, ALL dogs are welcome. Your choice of a coon hide or a bear hide. All for fun.
25 members strong, come and check us out!
wd mary jane said she will bake a cake for desert of course it has to be chocalate yum yum
I can bring salad, that wouldn't be a problem. I could make cookies or something else too if you want, just let me know.
Barb
A salad would be great, I think we're all set on the sweet stuff thanks.
I'm about to go to work but I received message this morning asking if we're holding any grade events. I wasn't sure how to respond to that question. I know Ive heard we can have a grade cast go out at night but what about for the other events?
barb i think we should accomadate everyone we can i dont think we should leave anyone out there is probably a lot of people who just want to have fun so my opion is yes everyone is welcome
I agree!
I spoke with member Steve Hurd this morning, he is having some really nice MSA hats made up. (Paid for out of his own pocket) They will say Monadnock Sportmens Association on the front and "Hunt with Hounds" on the back. These can be purchased at the club for $12 if anyone is interested. wd
Our shopping list is complete and everything has been delivered to my house by Phil & Fawn.
Water race box will be complete, delivered and put in place at the club tomorrow by Bob N & Brian B.
Just got news that the hats will NOT be ready for this event but we will have them available before our next one for sure.
Thanks everyone!!! wd

Hey guys I won't be able to make it tonight, just got called into work thanks to a miscommunication between my supervisor and coordinator. If I get out early enough I'll boogey on up there but normally I don't get home til 7 and it's at least 2 hours up so I'd miss the casts goin out
I'll definately be up there tomorrow though with my dad and hopefully a few other old timers
and I'll bring the salad. Good luck tonight everybody!
I received an email from a lady named Liza who attended the rabies clinic in Keene. She said she talked to some of our members and they seemed interested in the dog she had brought, a walker female with possibly some july hound in her. She's now looking to get rid of her and asked if any club members were interested in taking her or knew of anyone who would be. She'll be emailing me pictures hopefully soon so I can post an ad for her but if any of you guys would like to try that dog out or give her a home, shoot me a message and I'll give you the lady's email.
