My two youngest coonhunters

Got a new pup and my son loves him. Can't wait for both of them to get to the woods

This is my son and our new pup. My kids named him Cub because we all are die hard Chicago Cub fans.

NICE!

Well... except that name I (Heather) grew up within walking distance to Fenway... )
Look forward to TONS of pix of the two young ones in the woods!

It is going real well Ron, the dog is staying in the house. He is pretty well house broke and sits and stays real well. He is a smart little devil.

smart is good!

got a report on one of his sisters yesterday, really impressing her guy on a hide drag!

Posted by ronald schultz on 03-29-2010 09:09 PM:

talked to 2 others both smart around the yard

and another fem. looking good on a drag the way it sounds. .....some old diluted house blood might turn out good?

ron sent you a pm

I"ve not started him on any drags and such yet. Since my wife and kids thought he should be a house dog we are doing the whole house breaking thing first. He has it down. No accidents in the house for a couple of weeks. I have a couple of hides in the freezer so we might start on that next.

how's he doin ?

if the old girl dont show up he will have his work cut out for him. he'll have to do it all by himself this fall.......if she doesnt come home maybe i can get ya another one down there to help the pup out, but i bet he will be doing alright by season

I'll get you a picture of him now, he is huge. I'm trying to catch a coon to work with him, but haven't had any luck yet. I may grab a road kill next time I see one. He is just like Elly, he tips his food dish over before he eats it, and he looks just like her. I sure hope she finds her way home. I'm not giving up on Elly yet. I sure hope she turns up.
